HideDesk 1.2 strengthens protection continuity and recovery, modernizes global shortcuts, and improves capture detection, presets, entitlements, localization, and stability.
What’s New
- Protected apps remain covered when they launch, relaunch, become visible, or return to the foreground during Hide Mode.
- Improved English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese capture-session detection, with safer handling of temporary scan or permission failures.
- Normal quit now restores supported external state first. Incomplete restoration keeps its recovery journal and shows an actionable warning.
- Global shortcuts no longer require Accessibility permission and now handle conflicts, key repeat, and legacy one-modifier configurations safely.
- Presets now preserve app blacklists and whitelists without changing unrelated live blur exclusions; canceling an edit no longer changes current settings.
- Improved automatic-trigger reconciliation, protection reapplication, StoreKit entitlement updates, trial-use accuracy, accessibility labels, localization, and error states.
- Fixed an early-launch crash and multiple stability issues.
