Automatic detection requires Screen Recording permission. Do Not Disturb requires setup in Shortcuts. Detection recognizes English, Chinese or Japanese session indicators in window titles and may miss other titles; it does not detect every recording, share or meeting. Blur uses on-screen overlays. Third-party capture of an individual window may exclude them; check the actual sharing or recording preview before use.

  1. Cover desktop files and icons with your wallpaper, a solid colour or desktop blur. Choose which displays to protect.
  2. Hide apps using a hide list or a keep-visible list, or blur background application windows. The active app stays clear, and you can exclude individual apps from blur.
  3. Auto-hide the Dock while HideDesk is the active app, and enable Do Not Disturb through a configured Shortcut.
  4. Use optional automatic triggers based on recording or sharing session titles from supported apps. Meeting detection uses screen-sharing session signals. Combine triggers with presets and automation rules.
  5. Restore saved desktop settings and app visibility when Hide Mode ends. Optional recovery helps restore your setup after an unexpected quit.
